It usually takes three (3) years to complete the course. The internship program and clinical experiences can be all arranged based on the student's own choice of location.

After that, it is necessary for a student to pass the Educational Testing Service's Praxis Series Examination. This is the last step in becoming a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
